Emigration and massage

We went to Canada for the weekend, and were thrilled to get the work permit squared away. Once we were at the hotel, we pulled out our passports to look at the new paperwork...and discovered that I was transformed to K Schnitt. Just when you thought the original name wasn't the world's greatest last name...well.

The Schnlloyds spent the weekend looking for apartments. We found a fantastic one - beautiful hardwood floors, crown molding, huge, and in a fantastic neighborhood. There was no yard, which was a bummer, but the place was so great we were going to take it any way. The owner lived upstairs with his wife and four sons, and suggested that we come back at night to check out the neighborhood and make sure we like it. We came in the back door, so we had trouble immediately locating it that night. Weirder still - there was a massage parlor on the block. This isn't as weird as it sounds - they (and related enterprises) are scattered all over perfectly nice neighborhoods throughout Montreal. Anyway. We counted backwards from the door we came in...and realized that this was the apartment:

You can check the place out at abaca.ca ....but I really don't suggest it.
