Walking around our neighborhood Saturday morning (a month ago?) we stumbled on a series of hearts - on a wall
On this stoplight (St. Viateur, not sure of the cross street)
How did they do it? Who did it? When? I found another stoplight heart on the corner of Waverly and Van Horne. I kept wanting to take a picture to complete the entry, kept forgetting the camera, and last weekend, noticed it was gone. So is the first stoplight heart. Now that they're gone, I wonder - did anyone else notice? Does the heart-maker wonder who saw it? We did.

Sometimes it's the Legislature
The Vermont legislature just legalized gay marriage by overturning the governor's veto.
In Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Iowa, the courts ruled that prohibitions on same-sex marriage were unconstitutional.

Sometimes it's Iowa
From The Associated Press:
"DES MOINES, Iowa -- The Iowa Supreme Court issued a unanimous ruling Friday finding that the state's same-sex marriage ban violates the constitutional rights of gay and lesbian couples, making Iowa the third state where marriage is legal."
Massachusetts and Connecticut are the other two.
