Light Saber cool, Montreal, and on-time arrival

ON-TIME ARRIVAL

Over the past few weeks we've had many notable events. The most shocking comes first, so I don't want to keep you waiting: We came somewhere on time. More shocking? We met an always-ontime-ex-military personage for dinner...and we beat him there! Yes, of course we are aided in this venture by our stellar and consistent reputation for late arrival...but I don't think we can downplay this one. Then today - I did it again. Totally on time for lunch. Shocking, but true.

MONTREAL

We visited Montreal for the weekend and provide some pictoral highlights here - I feel they summarize our adventures quite well.

The weather was great!

We visited some lovely cafes and patisseries...

And visited the Olympic City

Light Saber Cool
New toy for work. To quote a co-worker: "It's light saber cool."

Happy Easter

We have finally met our niece, Alexandra. She is wonderful.

Blizzard of Aught Eight

We experienced the Ohio blizzard of aught eight. 16", powder on the top .... you guessed it, perfect for x-country skiing!

We skied from our house ...

down the streets ...

to Schiller Park.

Sam had a good time too!

Crazy Zoey

Haven't blogged in a while. The next few blogs provide the highlights since Australia.

K's parents gave us a new family member ... Zoey. She is adorable, energetic, and crazy - I have proof.

Welcome!

We have a lot of back-posting to do, but this one just couldn't wait.

Alexandra Lesley S was born on February 12th at 11:46 AM (after 2 days of trying!). She weighs 7 lbs, 2.5 ounces. While we have not yet had the pleasure of making her acquaintance, we have it on the highest authority that she is absolutely perfect.

Here she is with Mary
and with Kyle
and with her Aunt Lesley
As of Friday, we will have the pleasure of meeting her, and hope to post more Aunt pictures then!
